MUSEUM OF POWER, ESSEX

21 teachers from 12 different local schools attended the training at the Museum of Power in Langford, Essex. This is the first time we have run an event at the Museum of Power and during the lunch break the engineers showed off the on-site ‘Lilleshall’ triple expansion steam pump. Great feedback from everyone involved.

One teacher said “I found the day really interesting and I enjoyed the practical element of it. It was good to meet the Engineers and allow contacts to be made face to face rather than through emails to find a visitor to come into the school. I thought the two activities were also really exciting and would engage the majority of children.” We’ll be back to the Museum of Power in January 2018 to run the training course again!
