Celebrating International Women in Engineering Day

On International Women in Engineering Day and we spent the day celebrating some of the amazing women in the industry who have inspired school pupils as part of our Programmes and Competitions.

To kick things off we spoke to our Founder and CEO, Dr Susan Scurlock MBE, to find out why days like International Women in Engineering Day are so important.

We then asked “If you were back in school today, what field of engineering would you want to work in” to Aleesha Choudry from Solutions PT, Dame Dawn Childs President of The Women’s Engineering Society, Viktoryia Parkhamovich from GE Caledonian, Dr Hayaatun Sillem CEO of Royal Academy of Engineering, Kristen Baker from Schneider Electric and Tayo Ajasa from Rockwell Automation.
