Customer Service Co-ordinator

We are leaders in encouraging and inspiring Children to explore Engineering as a career path. We’re looking for individuals who want to make a positive impact on the future careers of young people. 

Our Service Delivery department play a key role here, creating the bridge between our Partners who fund our programmes and the Schools we deliver the programmes to. 

Our Goal, as a not-for-profit Company, is to embed engineering into the fabric of every school, ensuring all children have the opportunity to engage with engineering from a young age. 

 

The Role: 

  • Communication with schools via telephone calls and email to register onto our activities and build relationships with the schools for their ongoing engagement 
  • Support schools throughout their activity with educational, engineering and curriculum support 
  • Where suitable, attend events at our partners sites nationwide, to see our activities in action, further supporting and celebrating our engagement with pupils 
  • Problem solving challenges faced by schools to ensure pupils are inspired by engineering 
  • Handling inbound calls and emails 
  • Ensuring information is accurate and up to date on CRM System 
  • Communicate effectively within your team 
  • Providing a great level of customer service 

 

What You’ll Get: 

  • Salary £27,000 per annum 
  • Full-time role at 37.5 hours per week (8:30am – 4:30pm, Mon-Fri) 
  • 30 minutes lunch break each day 
  • 29 days holiday per year, including bank holidays

We’re looking for: 

  • 1 years’+ experience in a customer-focused role 
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to listen and communicate credibly and effectively both verbally and in writing 
  • Ability to work to objectives and agreed time-frames 
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to support with the management multiple contracts at the same time 
  • Good digital skills with Microsoft 365, Excel and Outlook and experience of using a CRM system 
  • Confidence in seeking out new leads and contacting schools for the first time
