Primary Engineer has developed a range of ways for schools to engage with engineering.

We have fully funded places for 15 primary schools to take part in our exclusive pilot ‘Time Machines’.
Two teachers from your school will be invited to a full day of hands-on training, providing them with the skills to take the programme into the classroom. Every teacher will be provided with a full kit, worth £450, and a suite of curriculum mapped resources that will allow an entire class to learn about the history and engineering of watches, time pieces and the importance of time.
This pilot is completely free to schools thanks to the support of the George Daniels Trust.

Interested in taking part?
This is an exclusive pilot programme running in the 2025/26 academic year,
with only 15 schools in Greater Manchester being able to participate.
There will be physical training which all teachers will attend, with pupils
then coming together for a joint school celebration event in early 2026.
All resources, training and lesson plans have curriculum links to Maths, English,
Art & Design, History, Geography, Science, Music, Computing and DT.
Availability is on a first come first serve basis, so make sure you secure your place and join us on an exploration of time.
