STEM by STEALTH Print E-mail

STEM by STEALTH was coined by a teacher after being involved with Primary Engineer. It summarises our work precisely, by practically applying mathematics and science to 'design and make' design technology activities - both children and teachers are left inspired.

Primary Engineer offers primary and secondary schools the opportunity to work together, build links, ease transition and develop the skills of pupils whilst incorporating professional development for teaching staff.

A complete range of projects and resources have been created to support our STEM by STEALTH approach for a full range of our activities contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Courses cover a range of practical skills and application of mathematics and science linked to the National Curriculum, mathematics frame work and the new creative curriculum.
Secondary teachers attend courses with a view to aiding transition and supporting their own primary liaison activities, which
is then cascaded to primary teachers.

Resources, schools receive site licensed software, interactive resources, printed books and printable resources for pupils aged 5-7 and 8-11yrs.

Local and Regional Challenge activities take place which culminate with the National final this year held
in Manchester at the BIG BANG Science and Engineering Fair
on the 13th March 2010.
