The Primary, Secondary and Advanced Leaders Award for
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics

This FREE award is open to all pupils aged between 5 and 11 years.     

The Award is in two parts - firstly the pupils write a letter of application to become a Primary Leader for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. In this letter they are applying for the 'post' of Ambassador for the school or club.

Pupils interview a person who works in the field of science, technology, engineering, mathematics. Help can be given to locate a suitable interviewee via the STEM Ambassadors programme managed by STEMNET.

Pupils under 9yrs can submit a video interview (as can older pupils, however 10+ will be required to submit a written article as well to fulfil the award criteria).

For Secondary and Advanced Students there is the opportunity to use this award towards their BTEC in the STEM Leadership Qualification.
